Google Panda is a Google's Ranking Algorithm which aimed at Lowering the Rank of Websites Deemed as "low-quality sites" or "thin sites" by Google. That Means the Websites which Google Considers as Low-Quality or Sites with very less or Shallow content were mainly affected by this Google Panda Algorithm

Google Panda was first released in February 2011. Google Panda was named After Google Engineer Navneet Panda who had a Major Contribution in building this Algorithm.

Because of Google Panda the Ranking of Low-quality sites was affected drastically.

High-Quality Sites owner were Happy because before Google Panda came into Existence their were Content  Scraper Sites also referred to as Low-quality Sites which used to rank above the High-Quality sites
